Coulee Coffee Roastery is a coffee roasting company in La Crosse, Wisconsin. La Crosse is located right on the Mississippi and surrounded by bluffs & ridges with numerous valleys called coulees. The entire area is known as the 'Coulee Region'.....thus the name of our company.

At Coulee Coffee Roastery, we understand coffee is more than just a morning beverage. It is sharing a moment with friends, making a connection with a satisfying cup, and contributing to a greater good knowing the coffee you hold in your hands is purchased in a way that is fair to growers & their communities.

It starts with the best beans the earth has to offer - grown in the lush mountainous terrain of the world's coffee growing regions. We sample and cup dozens of coffees before finding one that meets our strict standards. We let others buy the ones that we reject. And when we purchase our coffee, we make sure farmers are paid a fair price so they can feed and clothe their families, receive adequate healthcare, and provide educational opportunities to their children.

We believe each coffee has to be roasted to match its flavor and aroma potential. We do not have a "cookie cutter" approach to roasting. Each coffee is explored to discover a roasting profile that brings out the best flavor the coffee has to offer.

We then micro-roast every bean in small quantities - every day and only on demand. This ensures that you are receiving the freshest and highest quality coffee imaginable.
